Lifetime Warranty

At Yarra Jewels, we craft timeless pieces using only the highest quality diamonds and precious metals. Each item reflects our dedication to exceptional craftsmanship, ethical sourcing, and enduring beauty. To honour our commitment, all engagement rings and wedding bands come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Our Lifetime Warranty covers craftsmanship defects under normal wear and the optical properties of our certified Lab-Grown Diamonds. If you believe your piece qualifies under this warranty, please contact our team for an assessment. Any items found to show signs of improper care (such as bent prongs or misshapen settings) will be repaired at your expense.

 

While diamonds are extremely durable, they are not indestructible and should be worn with care.

 

What’s Covered:

- Craftsmanship-related issues, such as unstable settings or surface flaws in the metal.
- Rare changes to the optical properties (clarity, brilliance, colour, fire) of certified diamonds.
- Repairs due to verified craftsmanship defects within the expected time of normal use.

 

What’s Not Covered:

 

- General wear and tear, including scratches on metal.
- Damage due to improper care, misuse, or harsh impact (e.g., bent bands, metal discolouration).
- Lost diamonds as a result of ignored damage or delayed servicing.
- Theft or complete loss of the item.
- Warranty becomes void if serviced, resized, or altered by any third-party jeweller without written approval from Yarra Jewels.
- Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- Original proof of purchase must be retained for all warranty claims.

Shipping

We offer complimentary express shipping on all domestic and international orders.

- Domestic Orders (Australia): Estimated delivery time is 3-5 business days after dispatch.
- International Orders: Estimated delivery time is 3-5 business days post-shipping, depending on the destination.
- You’ll receive shipping confirmation and tracking details once your order is dispatched.

Duties & Import Taxes

For international orders, the recipient is responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes upon delivery. Yarra Jewels is not liable for any fees refused by the customer. In such cases, if the order is returned to us, redelivery charges will apply and must be paid by the customer.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the bespoke nature of our jewellery, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for change of mind on any of the following:

- Signature collection pieces
- Custom-designed or made-to-order items
- Sale or discounted items

We offer a 30-day exchange only on Ready-to-Wear rings, provided the item is unworn, in its original condition, and returned with all packaging and certificates.

We strongly encourage you to confirm all order details before placing your purchase. Our team is here to assist with any questions to ensure complete satisfaction.

For all custom or made-to-order rings, we provide a CAD (Computer Aided Design) for approval, usually within 1–2 weeks from purchase. If no approval is received within 3 days, we will proceed with crafting based on the original CAD. After CAD approval or lapse of 72 hours, no further changes or cancellations are allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel after purchase but before receiving your CAD, a cancellation fee of AUD 1000 will apply. After CAD approval, no cancellations will be accepted.

Refunds Will Not Be Provided If:

- There is evidence of wear, tampering or damage.
- The item was resized per your instructions.
- The incorrect finger size was supplied by you.
- The piece is a bespoke/custom-made item.
- The issue is not quality-related and can be fixed easily by us.
- The item has been serviced by an outside jeweller.

Resizing

We want your ring to fit perfectly. Yarra Jewels offers one complimentary resizing within 6 months of receiving your ring, subject to the following:
Complimentary Resize Limits:

- Resize up or down by up to 2 sizes
- For speciality bands like pavé, shared prong, or eternity bands, limits may vary.
- After the complimentary period, resizing starts at AUD 80.

Customers are responsible for all shipping charges related to resizing:

    Domestic Shipping (Australia): AUD 20 (return only)

    International Shipping: AUD 50 (return only)

Local clients may schedule an appointment at our Melbourne showroom for drop-off and collection to avoid shipping fees.

Complimentary Servicing

Yarra Jewels offers lifetime complimentary servicing on all engagement rings and ceremonial jewellery. This includes professional cleaning, polishing, prong inspection, and tightening where needed. Customers are responsible for shipping both ways.

Engraving

We offer complimentary engraving on engagement and ceremonial rings during the crafting process. If engraving is requested later, a fee applies, starting at AUD 50, depending on length. To modify or remove an existing engraving, a $100 AUD service fee will apply.

Rhodium Plating

White gold pieces are rhodium-plated to enhance their brightness. This coating wears off over time due to natural wear. Reapplication is recommended periodically.

Yarra Jewels offers rhodium plating services at AUD 100. The longevity of the plating depends on wear, body chemistry, and exposure to products or water.
